My stay at the hotel had its high points and low points. While the location was lovely with a beautiful garden view and convenient shuttle service, the rooms left much to be desired as they felt outdated and had a musty smell. The service was hit or miss; I had some pleasant interactions, but also a few frustrating moments. Overall, there are better options if you're looking for value for money.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were quite below average considering the price tag. They had a moldy smell, and despite the offer to clean, I felt they needed more than just housekeeping. The setup was a 1-bed apartment with a joining studio room.
Service
5.0
Service was inconsistent. While some staff members were friendly, others seemed overwhelmed and were not very accommodating, especially during breakfast.
Location
8.0
The location is really nice, offering a great garden view and a quiet setting. The shuttle service was also a nice perk.

The resort had an in-house day spa, which was a wonderful experience. However, overall, the facilities didn't really impress me.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel, which is perfectly situated near 4 Mile Beach and offers a beautiful garden view. The rooms are spacious and clean, making for a comfortable getaway. However, the service could use some improvement, especially with food orders being forgotten. Overall, it’s a great value for a family-friendly location, but certain areas need attention.

Dining was decent, although I was disappointed we couldn't access the restaurant in time; the pizza was good, though.

The facilities were nice overall, but the pool area could have been cleaner post-hours.

This hotel is a solid choice for a budget-friendly getaway. The rooms are spacious and clean, making it suitable for families or groups. Although the dining options left much to be desired, the service staff was attentive to our needs. I loved the location, which combines tranquility with access to nearby attractions, though you will need a car to get into town.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were so much bigger than I anticipated, which was perfect for our group of four. They were clean and comfortable, although they felt a bit tired compared to other places.
Service
7.0
The service was a mixed bag. Staff were friendly and accommodating, especially with high chairs for the little ones. They were attentive to our needs, which I appreciated.
Location
8.0
The location was good, set in ample gardens with a beautiful pool area. It wasn't in the heart of Port Douglas, so having a car is essential to explore the town.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was pretty average, with limited variety that felt a bit dismal. I think the resort could do better given its location and the resources nearby.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities offered a lot of great features like gardens, a gym, and tennis courts, which added to the experience. The pools were perfect for kids, which was a bonus.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location and the friendly staff were definitely highlights, making my stay enjoyable. However, the rooms left a lot to be desired due to cleanliness and lighting issues, and I found the dining experience lacking, especially the breakfast. It's a convenient spot with nice facilities, but improvements are needed to enhance the overall experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room was a bit dark and unclean when I checked in, which was really disappointing. I expected a nicer view since I was below the pool level.
Service
7.0
The service from the staff was excellent, especially one young lady who was so lovely and engaging. However, I was let down by the food, which was mostly not great.
Location
8.0
The location is nice, and I appreciated that we could bring our own drinks to the pool area. Still, it would have been better if the pool area was cleaned more thoroughly after the bar closed.
Dining
5.0
I was really disappointed with the dining options. The buffet breakfast was consistently cold, and the pizza wasn't good at all. There just weren't enough options, especially for breakfast.
Facilities

The facilities seemed decent, but again, they could use some improvements to maintain a cleaner environment, especially around the pool area.

I had a pretty good stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, and I appreciated the friendly staff, especially the pool bartender. However, I was a bit surprised by the basic amenities in the room, and I noticed the location was farther from the beach and town center than I expected. Overall, it was decent value for money, but there were definitely areas for improvement.

Location

The hotel was a three-minute drive into the main part of Port Douglas, which was convenient but further away from the beach than I had anticipated.
Dining

Dining was peaceful by the fish pond, but I found the food to be inedible and overpriced, which was disappointing.
Facilities

The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and the staff was accommodating, especially with dietary needs. The rooms are a decent size with kitchen facilities, which is great for families. However, there were some issues with cleanliness and privacy that detracted from the experience. The location requires a bit of travel to get to town, and the dining options fell short, particularly regarding variety and quality.

Rooms

The rooms were a perfect size with a kitchen, allowing for some cooking, but unfortunately, they had a moldy smell despite being clean. They also initially were not locked for privacy.

The staff was friendly and chatty, willing to help with our dietary needs, though some could use customer service training.
Location

I had a decent stay at the hotel. The room was quiet and well laid out for my family, and everything was clean. However, the hotel is starting to show its age, and the service left a bit to be desired. The location is okay, but the overall dining options were not impressive. I found the price to be reasonable but there are areas that need improvement.

Rooms
7.0
The room was quiet and immaculately clean, which I appreciated, but it did feel a bit tired and not very homely.
Service
6.0
The service could use some work; while the staff was friendly when they took us into town, cleaning staff knocked on our door earlier than expected and had an eye roll about it.
Location
6.0
The location is adequate, but the surroundings had a bit of an off smell. It’s not the most charming area, but it served its purpose.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were lacking; they didn't cater well to dietary needs like gluten-free, which was disappointing.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities were okay, but nothing stood out as impressive. The pool area had some nice activities but felt crowded with backpackers.

The hotel had a great location with beautiful tropical gardens, which made it a nice spot to unwind. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but I was a bit disappointed to have to negotiate a refund due to my desire to avoid staying in the room. The service was friendly, welcoming, and offered a variety of assistance. However, the dining options were quite limited, and I think they could improve the variety significantly.

I had a relaxing stay at this hotel, thanks to the quiet rooms that were perfectly clean and well-serviced daily. The staff was excellent, warm, and welcoming, which made my visit feel even more special. However, the dining options left something to be desired, particularly with the limited variety available, and the facilities could use some improvement as well. Overall, it's a solid choice for a family getaway, but don’t expect top-notch dining.

The hotel offers a great location, close to the town center and just a short distance from the beach. The staff are friendly and accommodating, which made our stay pleasant. Unfortunately, the dining experience was quite poor, with slow service and overpriced meals. The rooms, while nice and modern, could use some practical touches to make them more comfortable.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were nice and modern, but they felt a bit basic compared to other hotels I've stayed at. There wasn’t much space to put our luggage, which was a bit inconvenient.
Service
9.0
The service was really nice, and the staff were very helpful when I needed information about day trips. Overall, they were friendly and made me feel welcome.
Location
8.0
The hotel is conveniently located close to the town center and 4 Mile Beach, although it can get messy in the mornings with leftover food and drinks from the night before.
Dining
5.0

Facilities

The pool area was lovely and provided a relaxing atmosphere, but overall the facilities didn't impress me as much as I had hoped.
